Crew members, foremen, and superintendents who work for a Screed customer can text their daily job reports and photos to 1-888-274-5869. This page shows what they see before they text, how they opt in, and what the conversation looks like.

1. What Field Crews See

Everyone who reports in the Screed app sees this notice on the Board’s Report bar, where they report their day. It opens to the full text below.

Texting is optional. You can always report in the Screed app instead.

2. How Someone Opts In

  1. An administrator of the person’s company registers or approves their mobile number in Screed and assigns a project. Registering a phone sends nothing. Screed never texts a number first.
  2. The person sees the notice above in the app, or their employer gives them the number, and decides whether to text. Texting is optional. Reports can always be made in the app instead.
  3. The person opts in by texting their first report to 1-888-274-5869.
  4. Screed replies only to messages that person sends: a summary of what it read, which they answer only if something is wrong, and a question when something is unclear (such as which job a report is for). Reports go to the person’s company for review. No marketing is sent.

3. Sample Conversation

This is a sample for illustration. The project, quantities, and crew are examples. Screed’s replies use the same wording as the live program; the first reply to a phone ends with the program line.

4. Stopping and Help

  • Reply STOP at any time to cancel text messages. Reply START or UNSTOP to receive them again.

  • Message frequency varies with the reports you send. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Terms and Privacy

The program is described in Section 16 of our Terms of Service, and how message data is handled in Section 13 of our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
